Great day for the Manitoulin Agriculture Day hosted by Lyle Renecker and son Johannes at Palace Hillside Farm in Tehkummah. They shared their knowledge of crop management during the field tours and showcased the test plots and research trials on their property.
Touring with us was John Kelly the Deputy Minister for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Ontario Farmers Association director Bill Groenheide and Bill Orford the president of Manitoulin North Shore Federation of Agriculture.
Local farmers were able to meet with these experts and other agricultural speakers to discuss the future of crop production.
