Kina Gbezhgomi Child and Family Services

Today we made a visit to Kina Gbezhgomi Child and Family Services who serve seven First Nations and First Nations families in the District of Sudbury and Manitoulin.

We were welcomed with a tour of the facilities by Denise Morrow, Executive Director and Jim Fox Cultural Coordinator also welcomed us with teachings and song.

We had informative discussions on services provided and some of the challenges needed in addressing the complex needs of our youths and on how we can work together to find long term solutions. A special thank you to June Manitowabi, Rachael Mishibinijima, Bobbi Jo, Jim Couture, Natasha Conti, Jessica Orr, Lauren Newell, Michelle Mochan, Blake Ramahlo, Meghan Laframbois, Kristy Earl, Jessica Gaudette.
