2025 Fire Protection Grant$15,941.25
MPP Bill Rosenberg met with Fire Chief Dwayne Elliot to present a certificate of congratulations:
“Through the fire protection grant, our government is investing $15,941.25 to support firefighters in the Township of Assiginack, Manitouwaning on Manitoulin Island. Congratulations on your 2025 Fire Protection Grant for the purchase of bunker gear drying cabinet, hang dryer gear, halo block hoods and a turtle fire system and nozzle. On behalf of the province, I would like to thank you and the volunteer fire department for your continued service to the community. We hope these items will help enhance the safety and well-being of the volunteers.” MPP Bill Rosenberg
