Rearing Pond announced part of Rod & Gun Club Event

On Saturday, the Elliot Lake and Area Rod and Gun Club held a fishing seminar at the Moose Lodge. The event was well attended and included presentations from Paul Vieira and Don Oesch on hatchery operations and the City of Elliot Lake on the impact of Angling to tourism, resident attraction and Economic Development.

MPP Bill Rosenberg was on hand to speak about the importance of angling to the area and to let anglers know that the application for the rearing pond to be opened in Elliot Lake was approaching the final steps of approval. MPP Rosenberg is pleased to help and support this application and the opportunities that raising these fingerlings will provide for added angling and recreational opportunities for families and individuals.”
