Barb was recognized for her decades of volunteer service and leadership in the community. Her contributions include roles as a Brownie leader, Sunday School teacher and involvement with March of Dimes, United Way and Community Living Algoma. She has been a Parade Marshall for 27 years, handing the reins over this year to direct traffic.
Barb also received accolades of her service in June at an event held at Richards Landing from Edith Dumont, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and Raymond Cho, Minister for Seniors and Accessibility. A picture of her certificate is displayed above.
