It was my privilege to be able to attend Austin Clipperton’s 90th birthday celebration. Mr. Clipperton is a Municipal legend as Clerk of Spanish-Sable Twp for 52 years as well as Cockburn Island.
He’s also an active member of the community and surrounding area, having been a big part of the Massey Fair, the Agricultural Society, the local fire department and many other community organizations.
Austin told me if he behaves and minds his P’s and Q’s, he will celebrate his 70th wedding anniversary later this summer to his lovely wife Margaret.
