What a great day in Dubreville as Alamos CEO John McCluskey joined Batchewana First Nation chief Mark McCoy at Island Gold District to announce their partnership and start construction on a new $70 million-115kilowatt transmission line. This shows great collaboration and a shared commitment to all stakeholders for today and future generations. A tour afterwards by Mine Manager Austin Hemphill and his colleagues on the progress on the new shaft, paste mill and associated operations was great. These new initiatives will provide area communities opportunities for the years ahead.
